My name is Jaime Hurtado, I am currently forty-four years old and have lived in the Central Coast for the last twelve years. I am married with three children who have all been involved in my hunting lifestyle, which began over twenty years ago. I have always shared with my family the importance of respecting the outdoors and the honor of being a hunter, and I have yet to find a better hunting partner than my seventeen year-old son. I especially love hunting big game and have always been intrigued by taxidermy.
I decided to study the art of taxidermy at Calebs School of Taxidermy in Oregon and it has now become another great passion of mine. As much as I enjoy hunting a trophy buck, I am as excited when it comes to mounting it. The area I live in is abundant in deer and wild board and, therefore, I have taken these two as my specialty. With my many years of hunting experience, I pride myself in taking the special care of making my mounts as realistic as possible. Whether you are looking to capture your child’s first hunt or your own trophy, you will always be happy with the outcome of your mount. It is always good to meet fellow hunters who share the same passion for hunting as my family. And who knows, maybe we will end up sharing hunting trips in the future.
